Grand baie in Mauritius
Grand baie is located in north of Mauritius. In past the place was just a coastal area where poor farmers and fisherman's lived. The place had many beaches. Later it got evolved as a state with lots of shopping markets. Now it has become important tourist attraction.
Grand baie has developed much, when we talk about travel facilities, stay, food. Ranging from luxury to economical facilities. Grand baie is a place for sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and kite-surfing. It also has white sand beaches.
Black river gorges national park: this is one of the beautiful parks of grand baie. It was official in 1994. It protects and takes care of forests, variety of birds and plants of the area.
Blue penny museum: the speciality of the museum is that, it has two rarest stamps. The museum has much of the historical collections. It is also famous for the art monuments found in the place.
Grand bale beach: The place seems to be one in its own kind. The white sand around the beach and emerald water is the beauty of the beaches. The place also has some beautiful coconut trees.
Sir seewoosagur botanical garden: this is a beautiful place to visit. This garden was formed in 1735. it has many varieties of trees like chewing gum, fish poison, golden bamboo. Gecko is found on the trees.
