Vanille crocodile park
The park is situated in south part of the Mauritius. It was made in 1985. The place has exotic palms. Local flora and fauna is found in the park. The park has Nile crocodiles. Others animals found in the park are giant tortoise, bats, monkey, a giant Telfair Skinkthe, deer wild pig tenrec and rabbits. The walk through the park is scary as the wild animals are found all around the park.
Vanille Crocodile Park was made by Owen Griffith, who is Australian zoologist. He married a girl from Mauritius. She thought that the place is good for Nile crocodile. Two crocodiles where first brought from Madagascar, out of which one was male and other were female. After a year of care they were realised into the pond. They are kept into a cage until they come yo maturity.
The place is named as crocodile park, but it also has few other animals, insects, and birds found. The park has 20,000 different species of animals, insects. Other animals found here are monkeys, rabbits, deer, Etc. River riviere Des Angelle's flows besides the park. This river also increases the beauty of the park. Other than this are squirrels which are found here.
Some other facilities are also provided like restaurants, parking arena. No outside food allowed. Please carry your cap and goggles. The place is worth watch. The place is cool and calm. It is very serene. If you want to have an adventures trip, don't forget to visit the park.
