Black river gorges national park: It covers 67.54km which includes forest and marshy land. The specialty of place is its special trees like Chinese guava. Birds found here are kestrel, pink pigeon, cuckoo shrike, bulbul are worth watch.
Chamarel falls and colored earth: the major attraction of black river district is chamarel fall and seven colored earth. Tn the mountains there are different layers of colored sand. This color creates illusion when seen from far but the color is real. Visitors are not allowed to walk on that area. The best part of the place is the pluralistic approach of the people as all languages and all religion are followed here. Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist etc are some of them.
